Give Me That Hook!

In the State of Texas, many of our 4th and 7th graders are preparing to take the STAAR WRITING in two weeks. One of the problems is getting the students to write a strong introduction. Teaching them the importance of having a good hook and staying on topic. The following poster is helpful. Practice daily with your child in becoming a great writer.
