OMG! I can’t believe that Thanksgiving is already here. I can hear the students running and screaming down the hallway saying FREEDOM! Teachers are jumping for joy to finally have this break. Some of you teachers were barley holding on and we only have been in school for about 3-4 months now. However, at the end of the day, we are all grateful for this time off. It is important that we use these breaks as opportunities to relax, rejuvenate, and reconnect with ourselves and with the ones we love. That means teachers put down the lesson plans and enjoy this time with friends and family. Look to be in the moment as well as create new moments. Students use this time to get some much needed sleep as well as catch-up on your favorite TV shows. However, do remember to read at least 30 minutes daily during this time or to practice on a skill you are lacking on. Parents use this time to reconnect with your child or children during this time and plan a fun activity to do as a family.
Enjoy this mini break and have a wonderful and grateful THANKSGIVING DAY!
Thank you for all of your hard work from parents to students to teachers to administrators.
